We are located between 3rd & 4th Streets, at the Powell Street Station (same block as the Virgin Megastore). The closest parking is in the Ellis/O'Farrell Garage and parking is also available at the 5th & Mission garage.
The Phelan Building, a San Francisco landmark is an, 11-story, 267,400 square-foot office building constructed in 1908. The steel framed building is an exquisite example of Victorian architectural style. The white exterior is adorned with Renaissance/Baroque glazed terra cotta and metal windows. The two-story white marble lobby and elevator cabs have been completely restored, retaining the charm and grace of this magnificent building.
Directions to Westgate via the Ellis-O'Farrell Garage
123 O'Farrell Street
101 North (from West Bay Peninsula):
1. Take 101 to 80 East (towards Bay Bridge) to the 7th Street Exit. Remain in the middle lane (Bryant Street).
2. Continue up Bryant Street to 5th street.
3. Left on 5th street.
4. 5th Street will change names to Cyril Magin – continue to O’Farrell Street.
5. Turn right onto O’Farrell Street.
6. The garage is located on the right side of O’Farrell Street between Powell and Stockton.
7. Exit the garage onto O’Farrell St., turn right and walk toward market Street for about a block.
8. Enter the Phelan Building on your right just before O’Farrell ends at Grant Street
80 West (from the Bay Bridge):
1. Take 101 South to 5th Street Exit.
2. Staying on the right two lanes, merge onto 5th Street headed north.
Continue up 5th Street past Market.
3. 5th Street will change names to Cyril Magin – continue to O’Farrell Street.
4. Turn right onto O’Farrell Street.
5. The garage is located on the right side of O’Farrell Street between Powell and Stockton.
6. Exit the garage onto O’Farrell Street., turn right and walk toward market Street for about a block.
7. Enter the Phelan Building on your right just before O’Farrell ends at Grant Street
101 South (from the Golden Gate Bridge):
1. Exit Golden Gate Bridge to Lombard Street headed East
2. Continue Lombard to Van Ness Ave
3. Turn Right onto Van Ness headed South.
4. Continue Van Ness to O’Farrell Street – turn Left onto O’Farrell Street
5. Continue on O’Farrell Street
6. The garage is located on the right side of O’Farrell Street between Powell and Stockton.
7. Exit the garage onto O’Farrell St., turn right and walk toward market Street for about a block.
8. Enter the Phelan Building on your right just before O’Farrell ends at Grant Street
